Terms of Service
1. About the app
THRIVE is a personal-budgeting web application operated by Inge Vinković (Croatia). THRIVE reads bank-account information from accounts that you explicitly authorise via the Enable Banking PSD2 service and helps you organise it into a budget. THRIVE does not initiate payments and does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice.
1a. Testing phase
THRIVE is currently in a private testing phase with a small group of invited users and is not yet offered as a commercial service. During this phase the app is provided free of charge and as-is: features may change, occasional bugs are possible, and availability is not guaranteed. Bank connections are currently available only to the operator's own accounts; test users use manual entry, shared-expense groups, and statement upload. Do not rely on THRIVE as your only record of financial information.
2. Who may use it
THRIVE is intended for individuals at least 18 years old who want to manage their own personal finances. You agree to use the app only for your own personal, lawful purposes and not on behalf of anyone else.
3. Your account & bank authorisation
- You sign in with an email address; you are responsible for keeping access to that email secure.
- Connecting a bank requires Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) with your bank. THRIVE never sees or stores your bank credentials.
- Bank-data consent is granted to THRIVE for up to 90 days per PSD2 rules; after that period you may renew it or let it lapse.
- You may revoke bank access at any time through your bank's online banking, or by deleting the connection in THRIVE.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access another user's account or data;
- reverse-engineer, abuse, or attack the service or its providers;
- use the service to violate any law or any third party's rights;
- connect bank accounts that do not belong to you, without proper authorisation.
5. Service availability & "as-is"
THRIVE is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The app may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Data shown in THRIVE — including balances, transactions, and categorisations — may contain errors or delays and must not be relied upon as an official statement from your bank.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Croatian and EU law, the operator of THRIVE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including consumer-protection rules).
7. Third-party services
THRIVE relies on third-party providers (notably Enable Banking, Supabase, and Cloudflare). Your use of bank-data features is also subject to Enable Banking's terms and to your bank's terms. The operator of THRIVE is not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties.
8. Privacy
Use of THRIVE is also governed by the Privacy Notice, which describes what personal data is processed, where it is stored, and your rights under the GDPR.
9. Termination
You may stop using THRIVE at any time. You can delete your data from the app (and request deletion of cloud-stored data via the contact email in the Privacy Notice). The operator may suspend or terminate access for users who breach these terms or use the app abusively.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia and applicable EU law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zagreb, Croatia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is always published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of THRIVE after a change means you accept the updated terms.
